The Terminal
Airports are filled with an endless stream of people going everywhere. People are always struggling for many reasons; to escape, to get rich, or to go home. The airport is only a relay station as people go from the plane into the airport, and from the airport to a certain city, a short stay. No one waits around if they can help it, if they do, it will only be for a short time. But such a person exists – his name is Victor, and "The Terminal" tells us his story about waiting at the airport, this wait is a few months.
"The Terminal" is a simple but extraordinary story. Its plot is simple. It talks about Viktor who comes from a poor country inEast Europe and goes to the United States to help his father achieve an unfulfilled aspiration. By the time he arrives in Kennedy Airport, a coup has happened in his country, So suddenlyViktor becomes a stateless person, though not an immigrant, and even though New York and the United States are a few meters away on the outside he is not allowed to exit. Then he has to wait in the waiting hall.
In the film Frank Dixon asks Viktor” everyone is afraid, why are you not? For example, do you, at this time, have any fear of returning to your own country?” Viktor says, “No, it is my home, I am not afraid of my home.” And so Viktor has to live in the airport. Later, when the civil war ends, Viktor renews his country’s nationality. It is not too uncomfortable to live in an airport because the many people around him have warm hearts. And happiness lies in these daily encounters of ordinary interaction that we already know. In life there are many places like this, and often we don't know what we truly want. But Viktor knows, and in the film Amelia says: I've been waiting my whole life; just don't know what the hell for. Viktor looks at Amelia and says: "I know, we all waiting for something, you, I have been waiting for you." Suddenly, there is a bright flash. Then I believe there is a miracle on earth. But in the end Amelia leaves Viktor, and when she leaves she asks Viktor "You know what Napoleon gave was Josephine as a wedding present? It was a gold locket, And on the inside, he made an inscription. “Destiny”.
Good and evil, beauty and ugliness, all kinds of emotions, a woven convolution. In fact, people can be very transparent and have pure goodness. Think about what you like, do what you want to do. Perhaps, we can not escape the arrangement of fate, but at least, we can make life become different. We can not accurately measure what is of value, but there may be the realization that our dreams come after a long wait, and it is no matter if that moment is perfect or not in others eyes.Carry on in hope, wait at The Terminal.
