There is a zoo near my house. The zoo is very big and very beautiful. It has some kinds of animals, such as pandas, lions, tigers, elephants and monkeys.
Pandas are very cute and very fat. They just sit there, eating bamboo leisurely. But they are not my favourite animals. Lions are very strong. They walk around with pride in the big cage. However, it isn't my favourite animal either, because it isn't very handsome in my opinion. Tigers are very strong and very handsome. They have the unique stripes on their bodies. They're my favourite animals because they're very strong and very handsome. Elephants are tall and strong. They have long noses and big ears. They like carrying things. Monkeys are not very quiet. They like running and jumping from one tree to another. They are so active and full of energy.
Visiting the zoo makes me really happy as I can get close to these lovely animals.
Last week I went to the Xiangjiang Zoo in Panyu with my family. The zoo was very large and extremely beautiful. It was filled with a great variety of animals.
I saw pandas there. They were so cute and fat, waddling around in their area. But I didn't like them the most. Lions were very strong, yet I didn't choose them as my favourite because I didn't think they were handsome enough. Tigers, on the other hand, were my top pick. They were not only strong but also very handsome with their powerful build and fierce looks.
There were also snakes, elephants, foxes and many other animals. The elephants were so huge and they used their trunks to pick up things. The monkeys were so lively, some were climbing trees and some were stealing snacks from visitors.
We spent the whole day in the zoo and I felt very happy and excited. It was really an unforgettable experience.

When I entered the zoo, I was attracted by the sight of so many different animals at once. The monkeys were the funniest. They were making all kinds of funny faces and actions. Some were scratching their heads, some were chasing each other around the trees.
The lions were lying lazily in the sun, looking so majestic. The pandas were sitting there, munching on bamboo shoots. They were so adorable with their black - and - white fur.
