六单元注重的是一个很重要的比较级句型，比较一个人和另一个人的不同，有这样一个句型：A+be+adj（比较级）+than+B（这里的A、B指人或物，adj是形容词）。六单元有这样一对重要句子，这一个句子一弄懂，六单元基本上没问题了： Tom has longer hair than Sam. =Tom's hair is longer than Sam's.（注意！这里的Sam后面的s不能掉，这里的Sam's代指Sam's hair，属于本单元的一个难点。）
如果说六单元的作文，应该就是向别人介绍一个人和另一个人的不同，但可考性不大，词组也没有多少，但要记住形容词和副词的比较级，什么词的比较级只在词的前面加more，什么词的比较级只在后面加-er，是本单元要记硬背的一个东西。
