I once saved a little girl from drowning at a swimming pool, and have always felt really happy with myself, because life is so precious. When I lifted her out of the pool, her face and lips were blue from the lack of oxygen, and I felt really worried about her safety. However, she soon began to cough and her airways were cleared of water. When she finally opened her eyes, I felt so relieved and had a great sense of accomplishment. In Chinese, there is a saying that saving a life is like building a seven-level pagoda, and I felt really proud of myself of having done that.
One Thing I Am Proud Of
Among all the unforgettable experiences in my life when I’ am looking back on those beautiful old days with fulfillment , there’s one thing that I’ am proud of most. Whenever thinking of it, I would find myself happier and more confident than ever.
It was on a fine autumn afternoon when I was still a teenager. I noticed an old grandma sitting silently under a tall tree in front of her house, looking rather sad and lonely. I went to have a chat with her. After our short conversation, I got to know that all the old women’s sons and daughters were far away from her, making their lives in big cities and she felt lonely. I felt sympathetic for her, and I realized that there were actually many old people like her in the village. So a good idea occurred to me suddenly.
I gathered my friends, and organized them to visit there old people one by one. We sang songs, danced and told jokes to them, which made them happy. One of them was so moved that tears fell down.
Caring for those around us and passing our happiness to others are what I have learnt that day. I made it, and I feel really proud of myself that gave comfort to those who needed most.

记得七岁凳逗时，妈妈生病了，卧床不起，吃饭没胃口，还不时呕吐。看妈妈难受得样子，我心里特别焦急，我关心地枣咐卖问妈妈；“妈妈，你想吃点什么？”妈妈有气无力地说：“能喝口粥就好了。”我记在心里，可我从小都在妈妈的呵护下长大，什么事情都没干过。我想：怎么做粥呢，问妈妈，不行，因为会让妈妈操心，对，查阅电脑。说干就干，我打开电脑找到怎么煮粥，原来煮粥是把小米放在清水里泡上半小时，在把泡过的小米放在电磁炉上，用旺火一边煮一边用勺子转动，煮上十分钟，接着用小火慢熬二十分钟就可以了。
我马上到厨房，可是看起来容易，做起来挺难得：首先淘米时因为水龙头开太大，米溅到水槽，水花溅得我满身都是。但我毫不气馁，重新再淘米，我在厨房里笨手笨脚地忙碌了好一阵，终于粥熬好了，我还加了妈妈最喜欢的芹菜，我很兴奋，在舀粥时手又被烫红了。我高兴得把香喷喷的粥端到妈妈面前，妈妈感到简慎非常意外，连连夸我。看到妈妈津津有味的喝着热腾腾的粥，我的手也不痛了。

记得那次比赛我很想参加，在语文老师通知大家比赛的消息时，我第一个报了名，想珍惜好好这次机会。但是每个班只允许出两个同学参加，我的作文水平在我们班里是中上水平，连我自己都不敢奢望。那天老师叫我去办公室，
“报告！”“请进。”语文老师缓缓地说：“你报名参加作文大赛，自己有什么想法？”“我……”我支支吾吾地说不出话来。语文老师宽慰地一笑，说：“没关系，有什么想法都尽管说出来。这次大赛你是第一个报名参加的，自己当时是怎么想的呢？”看到老师宽心的笑容，我终于鼓起勇气一口气说出：“我写作文在班里不是最好的，但是我很想抓住这次机会，也可以锻炼一下我的作文水平。我是想试一试。”语文老师又是一笑，从桌上拿起一张纸递到我面前：“这是我拟定的出赛名单，你先看一下。”
