如果你是高中生，可以试着演课本剧，如高中英语书上有一段莫泊桑的《项链》，很经典，不知道有没有时间限制，如果有的话，如5分钟，10分钟，都可以排练类似的外国经典短片小说，但最好不要把所有场景演遍，最好排演高潮部分。

话剧表演重点不是你的剧目有多好看，而是演员的表演是否到位，首先台词必须倒背如流，这是基本功。尤其是英文对白，必须流利，不需要快，话剧的场地要求就是要所有在场观众都能听到、听清、听懂你的台词，所以可以慢，但要流利。要声情并茂，别像背课文。还有就是动作到位，话剧不是电影，没有后期剪切，没有特写镜头，所以必须动作夸张。不要背台，就是不要把后背面向观众，无论你和哪位演员对台词，无论你面向那个方向，必须有三分之二的身体面向观众。最后，记得不要挡到其他演员。
只要是舞台，就要像一个专业演员一样投入，不然再好的剧本也不能出彩。
