My Favourite Festival
Spring Festival, the most important Chinese traditional festival, is my favorite. It brings the whole family together and ushers us into a brandly new year.
What attracts me most about Spring Festival is the thick atmosphere it brings about, during which children play with various safty fireworks and festive adornments are being decorated on trees and walls along the street. Being in such a happy environment you can't help feeling warmth and pleasure. Besides the atmosphere, I love the gathering together of a big family. My parents keep working in other cities far away from the hometown and you can say the Spring Festival is the only oppotunity for the whole family to get together. And we can see relatives and friends who we wanted to see but for many reasons we didn't. Spring Festival is a time of happiness and comfort without study or work.
